A pilgrimage to resource efficiency 

Pumpkin Bread

Combine and mix thoroughly:
4 Eggs
2/3 cup Water
2 cups Pumpkin Puree
1 cup Oil
3 cups Sugar

In a separate bowl, sift together:
3 ½ cups Flour
1 ½ teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Nutmeg
¼ teaspoon Cloves

Optional:
1 cup Chopped Nuts

Topping:
1/3 cup Chopped Nuts
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Mix the wet ingredients with the dry and pour into well greased loaf pans. Sprinkle with topping mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 50 minutes or clean toothpick test.
Makes 5 small loaves or 2 regular loaves.
