Dehydrated fruit mix is an attractive and delicious mix of peaches, apples, grapes and maraschino cherries.
These are great to eat plain as a snack or you can rehydrate to make a fruit bread or cake. These can also be used to make a great fruit trail mix or use this fruit mix to add flavor to the cuts of meat that you will roast over an extended period of time. It is great for making a mixed fruit cobbler. There is no end in sight as to what you can do with the fruit mix. This is a must have for your long term food storage!
Low moisture peaches, apples, grapes, apricots, maraschino cherries (cherries: sugar, corn syrup, citric acid, artificial flavor, benzonate of soda, and potassium sorbate), sulfer dioxide, sodium sulfite, food calcium stearate added as a preservative.
Directions for use:
Place 2 3/4 cups water in a sauce pan. Stir in 1 cup fruit. Bring to a boil. Cover. Simmer 5-10 minutes. Alternate method: Combine water and fruit, allow to stand in refrigerator at least 5 hours. Fruit mix is a great snack and does great in trail mixes.
