Description
Corn, Dehydrated – #10 Can
Corn doubles in volume when boiled in water. The color is darker than either fresh or canned corn and lightens up a little when rehydrated. By adding 1/4 cup of dried corn to many different dishes before cooking them you can create variety with added flavor and texture. Great in soups, stews and casseroles.
Directions for Use:
Add 1/4 cup corn and 3/4 cups of water for each serving. May be simmered for 20 minutes on low heat. To reconstitute for later use cover with water and store in refrigerator for about 12 hours. Drain and season.
May be ground for use as cornmeal.
