Regular rolled oats may be cooked to make cereal or ground into flour.

Regular rolled oats have a high content of complex carbs and water-soluble fiber. Regular oats may take a little longer to cook but have a great flavor .
They can also be used as an ingredient in cookies or cakes. These oats store well in long term storage and are a favorite cereal choice with freeze dried or dehydrated fruits.

Directions for Use:

For each serving, boil 2/3 cup water and 1/8 tsp salt.  Stir in 1/3 cup oats.  Cook 3-5 minute, stirring occasionally.  Remove from heat and let stand 1 minute.
