We have carefully developed this package with the family in mind. This is more than just multiples of a one year package, rather, each item is considered for it’s versatility, desirability and nutritional content.

Psychological aspects of food storage have been considered with the inclusion of a variety of snacks, drinks and desserts.
Real Meat. Freeze-dried chicken, turkey, beef, ham and sausage have been incorporated so you can enjoy gourmet flavor and real meat texture in your meals.
“Just Add Water”, quick and easy meals for those occasions when you simply don’t have time (or the inclination) to prepare a meal. These meals are great when it’s the kids turn to cook!

The foods in this package are all dehydrated or freeze dried. Those that are freeze dried are marked as such. They are sealed in high density polyethylene buckets, #10 Cans or mylar packages with oxygen absorbers. In this compact form they will store well and require minimal storage space. This package comes in 42 cases and 36 six-gallon buckets.

This package was designed for a storage area 3′ deep X 6′ high X 8′ long.

The net weight of the food without packaging is 2302 pounds, supplies a total of 3,737,238 calories and 157,131 grams of protein.
This will provide 2,556 calories per day for four adults for a year. Or should suffice for a family with two adults and four children, depending on age and level of activity.

In addition, at least one gallon of cooking oil is required for proper reconstitution of the shortening, margarine and butter powders. 6 – 8 gallons of cooking oil (for your fatty acid requirements) are recommended along with clean water for cooking. Vegetable oil must be rotated as it does not have an extended shelf life.
