Cornstarch is a standard thickening agent used in cooking.

Cornstarch is primarily used for cooking and baking needs to thicken gravy and pie fillings. It can be mixed with sugar to make powdered sugar. Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of warm water and you have a great egg substitute in cookies, cakes, or breads.

Cornstarch can be used to soothe and calm skin irritations like sunburns, rashes, and allergy-related itchiness. Cornstarch can also be used as an alternative to talc, a knot detangler, to polish silver, clean your windows, as a degreaser, and a remover of various stains. Shelf Life:

Should be stored in cool dark place – optimum condition is 60 degrees or less – for longer storage. Product should store for 25+ years if stored properly.

Directions for use:
To thicken hot liquids, mix cornstarch with a little cold liquid until smooth before adding to hot liquids. May also be stirred into sugar before adding to recipe. When recipe calls for flour to thicken soup and stews, use half as much cornstarch as flour.
