Dehydrated potato flakes are a versatile product that can be used for many things as well as making instant potatoes. These potatoes are great to use when you are trying to make a great meal but do not have time. This is a delicious addition to your food storage. There are so many possibilities that you can do with potato flakes besides mashed potatoes and gravy.  This is a necessity for your long term food storage.

Shelf Life:

Should be stored in cool dark place – optimum condition is 60 degrees or less – for longer storage. Product should store for 20+ years if stored properly.

Contains: 
Dried Idaho potato flakes, mono and diglycerides from vegetable oil, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium metabisulfite, citric acid.

Directions for Use:
For 4 2/3 cup prepared servings:  Combine 1/2 tsp salt, 1 Tbsp. butter, 1/2 cup cold milk and 1 1/2 cups boiling water.  Add 1 1/3 cups potato flakes.  Stir gently with fork to moisten, DO NOT WHIP!  Let stand for one minute, then stir gently again.  Serve with butter, gravy, or sour cream for desired flavor.  NOTE:  for creamier mashed potatoes, stir in additional hot water or milk.
