Quick rolled oats may be eaten uncooked as in muesli or cooked to make cereal.
They can also be used as an ingredient in cookies or cakes or used as an accent on many oat bran breads. These oats store well in long term storage and are a favorite cereal choice with freeze dried or dehydrated fruits.
Directions for Use:
For each serving, boil 2/3 cup water and 1/8 tsp salt. Stir in 1/3 cup oats. Cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let stand 1 minute.
