White Rice – 5 Gallon Bucket

White Rice is naturally gluten free and can be used in soups, casseroles and Mexican or Asian dishes.



Long grain white rice is a food staple in any diet.

It can be used for main entrees, side dishes, cereals, and desserts. It is a low cost food item that is necessary for long term food storage.
Long grain white rice is enriched with iron, niacin, thiamine and folate. When cooking the rice and to retain vitamins, do not rinse off before or drain after cooking.

Shelf Life:  Should be stored in cool dark place – optimum condition is 60 degrees or less – for longer storage. Product should store for 30+ years if stored properly.

Directions for Use:

Add 1 cup rice to 2 1/4 cups cold water.  May add 1 tbsp. margarine or butter and 1 tsp. salt.  Cover with lid and bring to a full boil.  Lower heat and cook 8-9 minutes, keeping lid on, turn off the heat and let stand 10 minutes.  Fluff with fork before serving.
