Camping Gear

Lightweight tents, privacy shelters and cots make hunting, backpacking and camping a relaxing, enjoyable, vacation experience. Roughing it doesn’t have to be so rough, you can be prepared AND comfortable!

It’s great to have all the right camping gear on hand and ready to go when you are feeling the need to retreat into the wilderness for a little R&R. There is nothing more fun and exciting than traveling into the wilderness and experiencing Mother Nature.  A few tents in the woods, a campfire and starlight not filtered through light pollution is all a true camper needs. It’s a dream come true and you can experience it using our camping gear. We have lightweight tents ideal for backpacking through the forest that are simple to setup and take down. They’re perfect for less experienced campers just starting out. If you need a shower while trekking through the woods, then some of our shower and shelters are for you. Sometimes you want a little privacy from the prying eyes of nearby campers, so these easy to setup shelters keep you modest and don’t cost an arm and a leg. Sleeping on the ground can be a pain in the neck and back, but with our comfortable cots, you’ll get a good night’s sleep. They’re easy to build even in the dark and portable enough to take anywhere. Does your child plan a sleepover and a few extra bodies show up? A cot is the perfect spare bed.In the case of natural or man-made disasters, a tent setup in the living room can conserve body heat in case the electricity is out for an extended period.

Keep all your camping gear together and ready to go. Tent, shelters, backpacks, cots, sleeping bags, coolers, stoves, flashlights, first aid, spare clothes and cooking equipment along with emergency rations and bug spray should be organized and stored together so when the opportunity presents itself to get away for the weekend, you are not wasting time pulling things together.

Define the Food Crisis

Thank you to Sue from Alabama for inspiring this post.
Is the food crisis unavailability or cost? Supply and demand? Is it happening gradually or is it a future event that we need to get ready for? Is it weather and natural disasters that will prevent us from growing food or legislation? We are already experiencing higher grocery bills every time we visit the supermarket but is it just inflation?
