Lentils do not require soaking like you have to do with other legumes. Make meatless patties with them or use them in soups, casseroles, and other dishes.  Lentils can also be used for sprouting.



Of all legumes and nuts, lentils contain the third-highest levels of protein.

Lentils are a separate branch of the legume family tree that look like small, flat round disks. They can be used in multiple ways and provide vast nutritious benefits. An absolute must for variety in your long term food storage plan.

Directions for Use:

Add 1 cup water to 1/3 cup lentils and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes.  May be add to casseroles and soups.

Can also be sprouted.
