Lentils - 5 Gallon Bucket

Lentils do not require soaking as do other legumes and they are easier to digest. They are easy to grind up to make meatless patties and they take on spices and other flavorings that you add to them. They can also be sprouted for stir-fry or to eat fresh.



Of all legumes and nuts, lentils contain the third-highest levels of protein.

Lentils are a separate branch of the legume family tree that look like small, flat round disks. They can be used in multiple ways and provide vast nutritious benefits. An absolute must for variety in your long term food storage plan.

Directions for Use:

Add 1 cup water to 1/3 cup lentils and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes.  May be add to casseroles and soups.  AND can also be sprouted!
