Dehydrated spinach flakes are a great way to add spinach to soups, dips, and sauces.
So much simpler than out of the freezer, or even the chopping of fresh. Simple to add to soups, stews for extra nutrition. Or try adding to cheeses for your favorite spinach dip! Try some in your favorite recipe and you will want to keep a supply of this vegetable in your pantry. Keep some for long-term food storage as well!
Shelf Life: Should be stored in cool dark place – optimum condition is 60 degrees or less – for longer storage. Product should store for 20 years if stored properly.
Directions for use: Cover 1/4 cup spinach flakes with 3/4 cup water. Simmer until tender. Makes 1/4 cup. Season with butter and salt. May also be added to dips, soups, stews, and casseroles.
