Spaghetti is a dried pasta used in many dishes. It does not contain egg. It can be used to make a traditional spaghetti dish or used in place of other types of pasta in salads, soups, and casseroles. An important part of any long-term food storage program.
Shelf Life:
Should be stored in cool dark place – optimum condition is 60 degrees or less – for longer storage. Product should store for 20+ years if stored properly.
Directions for Use:
Bring 4 quarts water to a rolling boil. Salt may be added. Add 2 cups of spaghetti and quickly return to a boil stirring gently. Cover and bring back to rolling boil. Cook uncovered for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. For best results, avoid over cooking. Drain. A small amount of oil can be added to prevent sticking. Serve immediately. Makes 8 servings.
